Product Overview:Our machined Tungsten Copper (WCu) components are specifically designed for high-performance molding applications. Fabricated using high-purity tungsten and a premium vacuum infiltration process, these parts serve as critical inserts or core components in molds where extreme heat, electrical discharge (EDM), or demanding wear conditions exist. Our capability for precision machining ensures these electrodes integrate seamlessly into your existing mold designs.
We offer various compositions to balance conductivity, hardness, and wear resistance according to your needs.
Typical Grade for Molds: CuW75 or CuW80 (Standard), with options up to CuW90.
Density: 14.5-16.5g/cm(Grade dependent).
Electrical Conductivity: 30 to 40%
Machining Precision: CNC turning, milling, and grinding to customized tolerances.
Plastic Injection Molding: For mold cores, cavities, or inserts that form deep ribs or complex features where cooling and EDM wear are critical.
Die Casting: As critical wear parts and heat sinks in the casting of aluminum, magnesium, and other non-ferrous alloys.
Aviation & Medical: Production of specialized, high-precision molded components requiring extremely tight tolerances.
